Maker Pizza opened on Cameron Street in Toronto's Chinatown in 2015 as a takeout counter with a menu designed by Matty Matheson. It sold out most nights by 6pm. Today there are four Maker Pizza locations across Toronto and Thornhill, making classic American style pies for pickup and delivery.
The menu runs on signature pies like Dr. Pepperoni with double pepperoni and toasted fennel, Tropic Thunder with chili pineapple and jalapeños, and Truffle Shuffle with roasted mushrooms and béchamel. You can also build your own on a red or white base. The house rule hasn't changed since day one: it must be made perfect or it must be made again.
